Mr Iannone, (Enzo), has been working in dental field for the last 30 years.
He graduated as a dental technician in Italy and worked in various dental laboratories in south and north Italy, giving him extensive experience of dental laboratory work. He was also a chair-side dental assistant at the US Military Naval Dental Clinic in Naples where he gained clinical understanding of the patients’ needs.
He moved to UK in the late 1990s and ran the dental lab for Dentics, London’s pioneer cosmetic dental practice where he specialised in smile design and developed his expertise. In 2003 he established his own lab, New Smile Lab.
He has also studied psychology and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis. By combining both areas of expertise, he has gained valuable insights into the complex interaction between the dentist and patient, especially managing difficult patients in cosmetic restorative dentistry. He offers support, consultation and in-house training for his clients.
He has been an integral part of the ADS teaching faculty since we started in 2003, covering the laboratory aspect of colour matching and shade selection on our year long restorative programme. For the last few years he also started lecturing on management of difficult patients in cosmetic restorative dentistry.
