Dr Flynn qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2002. He spent a year as a House Officer in Dublin Dental Hospital, concentrating on both restorative dentistry and oral surgery. Following this, he worked in private practice for over two and a half years and successfully completed the MFDS exams.
He moved to London in 2005 to begin a three-year training programme in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute. In, 2008 he was successfully awarded the Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD), the highest formal qualification available for the endodontic mono-specialty, by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and entered onto the General Dental Council’s Specialist List for Endodontics.
Dr Flynn has been working exclusively in endodontics since 2005, in some of the highest profile practices in Harley Street, Knightsbridge and Hampstead areas of London.
His expertise allows him to use the most cutting edge endodontic techniques and equipment to produce excellent results. He receives referrals from general dental practitioners, patient self-referral and referrals of particularly challenging cases from other Endodontists.
He lectures and gives hands-on courses for dentists in the UK and abroad. Dr Flynn has also taught Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute for Oral Healthcare Sciences. He is a mentor to fellow Endodontists and an invited lecturer to many events, including at the Association of Dental Implantology annual conference, the British Dental Association and the first International Endo Masters online congress in 2015.
